1リットルの涙

Is it ok if I say what I’m feeling right now?

I dun know wad is going to happen in e future.

But right now, wad I’m feeling is 100% not a lie

I can say it with confidence.

For me, as long as you’re saying it,

no matter now slowly you’re saying it, I’ll still listen.

Even if u can talk over the phone, then I’ll come over just like that.

If you want to walk, no matter how slow it will be, I’ll walk with u.

Right now, I may not be that reliable.

One day, m aybe I’ll be able to help.

Things are not the same anymore.

But there’s a kind of feeling linking us together.

I dun think we’re living in different worlds.

And with regards to yuu, I like you.

Maybe.

I like you, maybe.

Probably.–Aso-kun, translated from “One litre of tears”.

Wanted to blog this last week, but my blogger was down. So here it is.

1 Litre of Tears (1リットルの涙, Ichi Rittoru no Namida) about a girl who was diagnosed with a disease called Spinocerebellar Degeneration when she was 15 years old, and was able to continue her life until her death at the age of 25 years old. Her diary 1 Litre of Tears was published shortly after her death. It encouraged many people, healthy or diseased, because of its inspiring and courageous messages. As Aya wrote, “Just being alive is such a lovely and wonderful thing.”

Hmm, the thing i like about this show is how they are able to bring across the human emotions so well. Family’s love, struggle to see their daughter, sister coping with the illness. The extract was from a 16-year old boy. Simply, innocent and naive to a certain extend. I guess as we all grow older, emotions become more complex.

It ain’t simply about “I like you” anymore.

Issues like parents, religion, society, compatibilty(on social, economic and education levels) all come in to play. I figure that that’s wad’s killing the romantic in me.
